I saw the great “boot camp” example project but on web player the game has a intro cut-scene.
Why into downloadable Unity 3D project this part is missed?
What is the technique used to create the intro of boot-camp?
Exist a tutorial or example project to make cut-scenes?
Size issues mainly. The 3.0 download is 3 times as big as 2.6.1, and adding in all of that scene would have made it even bigger. I hope they release the full project for download though, as a ot of those techniques would be interesting to learn.
They have left all the resources in the Bootcamp Demo project, including scripts, models - chopper, pilot, fbx animations etc you can kind re piece it together if you wanted. But I agree it would be cool if that scene was included.
it comes with the install. its on windows in the public share folder of your system which is under the public user. on osx basically the same, just the all users/unity folder
on windows the public share / public documents should actually be in your computer directly … same for all later windows given you didn’t remove it (commonly public share folder there or in case of win7, the “public” folder in the favs). once in there, subfolder “Unity Projects”
On windows is on:
“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Unity Projects”
By the way is not showing in my documents “C:\Documents and Settings( current user )\Documents\Unity Projects”.
Is this a bug?
Of course it’s a video. This whole Unity thing is all bout videoz, i can proof: There’re lots of Unity vimeo videoz on da net, just use google. If you would work with videoz, ahm i mean Unity, you would know!
Bootcamp intro.
How did they do the clouds, is that realtime??
Does anyone know???
The clouds are not included the Bootcamp demo, but the helicopter is?
Yeah I was also interested in cut scenes… What if all your animations are done in other software (such as maya) would this be possible? Perhapes someone smart with this stuff should make a tutorial to help us that arent familiar with cutscenes, almost every game should have them imho…
