Bottle Flip Takeoff!

Hi guys,

my team and I created our first game. It’s a cool Bottle Flip Game, that was suppose to be a simple project but took us about a 45 days to complete. What do you guys think?

PS. The game has been in the app stores since Dec 25, and we have gotten about 1000 downloads between both app stores. We are just now beginning to promote via FB marketing with contest.

(The game was suppose to take advantage of the bottle-flip-craze but I think we missed it…eh)

Lets hope so - Not that you missed out on taking advantage of kids being super annoying with half empty bottles of water, lets hope the craze is over - because that crap has been annoying!

I won’t download the game - for reasons noted, however I think you choose the correct visual direction for the game to quickly deliver it to the masses.
What was the reason for delay of the game? What was your original scope and development timeframe?

haha they are still flipping, just only a select few now. The delay was I never created a game before and my friend was the programmer. I did not understand that I needed to write out the entire game or most of it out on paper, then create a flowchart so the game would flow smoothly and then develop it.

The scope for this project was 30 days. Development timeline was about 4/7 days a week due to my friend having a life etc.

but we are now getting much downloads now. 321 Install and 292 uninstalls in last 30 days. (Not holding retention)

We’re hoping the new updates will help. But we aren’t going to spend to much time working and tweaking this game because it was our first project. Now we are building a racing game.
