Bought asset from store not added to my account

I bought an asset in the current asset store sale and it hasn’t been added to my account. The payment successfully went through in paypal. I haven’t received the usual purchase confirmation from unity. I bought the asset a few hours ago.

I sent a message to the asset store customer service and received an auto response that said that it would take more than 2 months to reply to my message.

This isn’t acceptable, I need that asset now, not in 2+ months. Not sure what I can do other than hope that it will be added to my account eventually.

You can’t have a store where you take people’s money but don’t have any way to get help if something goes wrong.

I had that happen on Firefox just 2 days ago, … I have got use to
having unity open, and then when the sale goes thru when you get the " open in Unity " just download it asap.

The other possibility I had to do, was use the package manager and reach for the name…
it was there, but not showing on Firefox as bought… lest was then.

Hopefully if you check by the package manager, it might be there… and avoid … 3 months :frowning:

Thanks for the response. The asset wasn’t listed in the package manager.

I ended up canceling the payment in paypal. Now my account has been suspended and I can no longer access my project.

The only way to appeal the suspension is to go through support, which will take 2+ months for a response.

So I am now completely screwed, can’t continue development until this is sorted and no way to get help.

I am very sorry to hear that :frowning: I have been around a long time too,
but do not know Unity, probably far less than you do. The only other thing I
could suggest, is maybe trying to get to talk to some one, maybe via the
personal message system. Actual working " dev’ s " can’t have this kind of
disruption of a " glitch " in the store… it’s not fair that you
should be the one to pay the price… Perhaps the bot thinks your account
was hacked, is the only thing i can think of…
