Breaking glass effect - animated?

So, I’m trying to animate a Mesh that gets broken in pieces in Maya, using nCloth. However, I’m not sure this animation will usable in Unity? Is there a way to bake it down? It’s one mesh with many submeshes.

Figured out you can animate in maya with rigidbodies, bake it out, and then you can export it to a animation, no need for ncloth.
