I know that a lot of you wanted me to get this released before Black Ops 2 came out. I truly apologize that I couldn’t make that deadline.
“Aliens In Allentown” is a game which takes every shortcut possible to make it under Google’s 50Mb limit. No, I am not even remotely interested in that “Supplemental File” crap. I had to remove normal maps, avoid using terrains, make repeated use of models at low-poly counts, etc. to get this one under the limit. And don’t even talk to me about shadows. I’ll worry about those when I have Unity Pro.
My particle systems seem a little pixellated on Droid, but they don’t appear that way on my PC. That bothers me, but I’ll have to deal with it or start my own manufacturer. Sigh.
