Brightness setting

I’m trying to implement the brightness setting, but I’m not sure which is the correct way. I’ve put a black image on top of the canvas and then changed its opacity, but it doesn’t seem like the right way to me.

Any suggestion? Thanks!!!

could use a 2d light

Canvas? As in the UI system? To note, that’s not a 2D feature.
