Bring phong settings from cinema 4d into unity


I have a big problem. I just modelled a turret in cinema 4d with custom phong(smoothing) breaks (using "break phong edges" in c4d). When I import the FBX-Model (c4d doesn't work with version 12...), these breaks are gone, instead the whole model is completely smooth.

How can I import the correct phong settings into unity? (the problem was already discussed in the forums, but with no good solution).

Please help!

Posted this in the forums (Link), it is an issue with C4Ds FBX exporter. they (Maxon) are (hopefully) working on it now.
