Hi. First, I’d like to suggest you append to the automatic mail we receive when reporting bugs short info on how to add additional information to a bug report. It took me months before I casually stumbled on the sticky thread in this forum section.
So the question is. When a bug report doesn’t receive any response in about a year, should I considered it as won’t fix, or somewhat discarded? Or is there still hope?
I’d like some kind of response, even if automatic or negative. I’m not trying to rush you to fix bugs faster (of course that is always welcome), I’d just like to know if a human ever looked at it and if the report quality wasn’t high maybe should I clarify something.
Maybe if the bug report system was a bit more open we users, could at least help with pinpointing duplicates? Just my two cents.
Thanks.
