Bug-reports submitted with Unity LTS should not yield to "Plz update to latest alpha, kthxbye"

When I submit a bug-report with Unity LTS, it means I ask you to fix the issue in that particular LTS stream.

However, a common reply from QA is:

Asking LTS customers, who purposely stay on LTS due to stability reasons, to update to the latest alpha release isn’t particularly useful.

100% agree!

Yeah as a QA person in my day job, this is a bad response. Yeah when I receive a bug report I need to investigate or reproduce, it is pretty typical to try it first on the latest version. I probably already have the latest version installed and ready to go anyways for other testing, and the devs will want to know if the bug still exists in the latest version.

But when not reproduced on the latest version, the bug report has the reported version for a reason. So I’d install the reported version and try to reproduce there. That’s pretty lame to just not bother.
