[BUG] Substance & Lightmap Static Error

This started happening on Unity 5.0.0b18 x64 for Windows 8.1. Was fine before that.

How to reproduce

  • Assign any substance material on any 3D object (any primitive works)
  • Set the geometry as “Lightmap Static” or completely static
  • Console will start spamming an error “Should be implemented in child class” forever in edit mode.

I filed this as a bug last friday, case 658013 - and received this response on monday december 22

although, I did not mention the lightmapping. I thought it was an issue with the standard shader, as substances worked fine when I used other shaders. so maybe it’s connected with lightmapping.

in any case, I think they’re working on it :sunglasses:
