Bug: When building an Android Cardboard app, custom splash screen settings are ignored.

I just sent a bug report. I can’t believe nobody ran into this problem. And yes, I have a Unity License.

How to reproduce:
Start a new project using Unity 5.6.0 or higher
Import Google Cardboard VR v1.5 or 1.6
Change splash screen settings
Build for android - Splash screen works correctly
Add “Cardboard” to the “VR SDK’s” list
Build project - App will display the default gray “Made in Unity” splash screen

This is a huge show stopper for me right now, I have a project due in two days and the client specifically wanted their logo on startup. That feature is literally the only reason I bought a license, and it doesn’t work.

VR Splash screen is separate from normal unity splash screen. You specifically replaced the Virtual Reality Splash Image in the Splash Image section of player settings and it didn’t work?
