I started this 8 monthes ago as a small hobby game prototype in Unity and a lot has happened since then! I will post a link to the trailer video as soon as it’s uploaded, but in the meanwhile you can check it (and hopefully buy it!) on the App Store at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bugfest/id407469630!

Bugfest is a cute and fast-paced bug-squishing arcade game for iPhone and iPad. This is a universal app that includes HD graphics for iPhone4 and iPad.

EDIT: New version can be downloaded over the air (app size has now been reduced to 15MB).

Suggestion: make splats white, usually bugs don’t have red blood :smile:

It’s red for consistency with the “red bugs” so that you know you squished a red bug, and not a green bug. I didn’t go for something realistic here, and it was indeed quite annoying to have to stick to red for the enemy bugs squish effect…
