Features
Mantis Integration
Bugger seemlessly integrates with Mantis without any coding required. Simply drop the prefab into your scenes and your testers will be able to submit bugs to Mantis without ever having to exit the game or look away from the screen! This allows your testers to quickly report bugs and give more details without having to remember when, how, or where a bug occurred. Most testers play through a level taking notes as the go to report bugs, sometimes hours, later. Now with bugger they can report them immediately and continue testing!
Screenshot
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well that has never been more true in testing. With Bugger’s screenshot option a tester can easily attach a screenshot of what they are currently looking at giving developers more insight into what the issue may be. Bugger’s screenshot only takes a screenshot of the project and leaves the rest of the tester’s desktop out of the picture giving the tester a further sense of security. To top it all off, taking a screenshot is as easy as clicking “Attach screenshot”! The screenshot is uploaded as an attachment to the tester’s bug report.
Scene Dump
Bugger’s scene dump is a new and relatively unique feature to Bugger. Bugger’s screen dump option allows the tester to attach a complete dump of all objects in the scene! This will allow the developer to see all active objects, and what any variables may be set as!
Easy to use
To top everything off, bugger is easy to use for both developers and testers! Bugger can be easily added to any project with no coding experience, and even the most in experienced tester can use it! It’s as simple as pressing a button!
Active Development
Although Bugger currently has a lot of attractive features it is still under active development! More features will come over time, including a custom editor for developers to view bug reports right from within Unity!
EDITOR
Bugger contains an editor to allow devlopers and programmers to access, view, respond to, and close issues right from within Unity!
