Buggy Mecanim Behaviour

I don’t really know what exactly is wrong, and it’s really hard to describe it. I’ve been messing around since the moment I noticed the bug, somehow, it has affected few of my animations, some including extra animations from medieval warrior and Raw Mocap Data for Mecanim. Some errors include extreme swaying that usually make my character go way high in the sky.
My game works by mecanim movement, so I can’t simply disable root motion (and for some props, I could, but that’s a lot of extra work for something that was working not so long ago).

I have tried removing and adding the packages again, and it still happens. I don’t remember messing with the animations at all before the errors began, as I already had set up the entire animator system. I did downloaded a few new packages, but they were only environmental (some new buildings).
I changed the avatars for the animations in RMDFM to create a new one instead of copying from the default, and it seemed to work, until the legs would twist strangely, and strafing would still send my character high in the sky.
Is there anything I should be testing?

With help of other communities, I managed to solve this, leaving it here in case someone else is having a related issue.
