Build menu missing Mac and Windows modules download buttons

@Charles_Beauchemin As you can see on the image:

  • the build settings mention “PC, Mac & Linux Standalone” but I can build for Linux only,
  • the modules that must be installed so that I can build for Windows or Mac are missing in the “Platform” menu. If I want to install them, I must go back to Unity Hub and install the Windows and Mac build support (mono) modules (at leat it seems to be the ones to install).

This happens in all the Linux versions I have tried yet.

I cannot report this as a bug because I’m not using Ubuntu; my bug report would be immediately closed.

@Tak @andrar for visibility. :slight_smile:

This is the same behavior on all versions of the standalone product. We don’t install Mac and Windows by default. Just as we don’t install Linux and Mac by default for windows.

if you want support for those targets you will need to install them via the hub. The text is just a generic element and once you have one standalone platform installed it shows up in this UI and until you have the others installed they won’t show up.
