Built-Game Texture/Material Corruption

What was once an annoyance has become a serious game-breaking issue that’s costing us a lot of money and I need to know what’s going on.

What started with PlayWay water has now expanded to even happening without playway even in the system.

In the editor, everything looks fine, but in the built client, you get this colorful distortion and corruption randomly throughout the entire game. Before it was UGUI panels in the game, now it’s even speedtree models and random textures inside the game.

It’s impossible for us to diagnose because again, it only happens in the built client, which is the one that our customers and players are using, but every new patch constantly hearing how “this model is broke” or “that model” is making us look really bad and it has to be addressed yesterday.

What’s causing this and how do we put a stop it it before it puts a stop to us?

do you have an .asset file larger than 4GB?

Nope, but the game itself is much larger than 4gb.

Can I get a Unity rep to weigh-in on this since this is now a launched Unity game with the Unity logo on it, and everyone who plays it has to see messed up graphics because I’ve got no other recourse?
I don’t know if it’s relevant, but i found out that if I reduce the resolution of some 4096 textures down to 512, the issue will go away for a period.

Is there a bug report for this?
Best way to get a responce from Unity on a specific (unique) issue.
