BulletPatternEditor - easily create shoot em up bullet patterns [FREE]

This package will allow you to create the bullet patterns as seen in game such as DonDonPachi, Progear, Deathsmiles etc. Ive been trying to get it on the AssetStore for a while, but its keeps getting declined and I have no idea why.

So I’ve decided to release it as a free download, but small donations are appreciated if you can spare it. Don’t bother if you are on a strict budget, I know being an indie dev can be tough. Paypal is “drayhendrix@gmail.com”.

If you have any questions on how to use it, or find any bugs, please let me know. Thanks, and I hope you find it useful.
NOTE - these screen shots have a glow effect using Unity Pro, by default the package will not have this glow. You’ll have to add the effect yourself with Unity Pro. If you don’t have Pro, I’m sure there is some way to get a glow effect with free, I just haven’t looked into it yet.

Oh and several pattern prefabs are included to get you started.

This is really nice thanks for posting this, Can you write up some instructions on how to set this up in unity please?

if this script behaves as well as I imagine, I´ll make a donation. Thanks for the share.

By the way, Im with darj008. write some instruction because this feature is very promising.

can we use it for commercial projects?

Sorry for the late response, been quite busy with Uni work.

Yes, feel free to use it in commercial applications.

Yup, great thanks for this one.
Eventually, it should be interresting to know why this have been declined…

holy shit dude. my one shot google search for “shoot-em up bullet pattern” ended up with an awesome free unity script. thanx for sharing this!

Sorry for bumping such an old thread. I am working on a bullet hell shooter atm and this idea felt really great. However, i was unable to get it to work properly in unity2d. Has work been at all continued on this? Should this version work with unity2d?

Suggestions about other similar projects would be much appreciated also, or some neat way of working with bullet patterns.

cool

Started converting this for c# and using unity 2D features,
