Bumped Diffuse not working correctly

Hi,

I have a 3D model of a room (downloaded). It has a lot of polygons. I also have a lot of textures that I’m trying to put on the wall to the required effect. I selected bumped diffuse and after selecting a texture and converting another image to Normal map, when I apply I do not get the grainy effect of the normal map as expected. I created a new cube and put the same material on that, it works. Where am I going wrong?

The difference the cube and the mes is the UV mapping.
Your model is missing a proper uv map, that is necessary to tell unity how to put the textures on your model.
For that you have to uv map your model in a a 3d Modeling software of ask the author of the your room model for a uv mapped variant.
