I have only just noticed this happening.
When I click in a certain portion of the left button the click is detected by the middle button. This is because the text on the middle button overlaps the left button. But this same thing does not happen with the right button when clicking inside another text on the middle button.
Is this the expected behaviour?

I suspect that the button and its children are layered on top of (lower in the hierarchy) the button to the left but under the button on the right.
I never realised that everything under a button contributes to the button’s clickable area.
I have fixed by adding a CanvasGroup so I could set not intractable and not blocking raycasts.
out of curiosity why do you have button component elements outside the main button area? wouldn’t it make more sense to just make sure the contents of the button fit inside the button rather than doing a work around?
The text needs to be wide enough for several digits but if there’s more than one digit it will all be inside the button because the time text won’t be there.
