Buttons in unity: Text or Built in text in PNG?


I’m looking for the best practice available for doing UI Buttons in unity: should you create a button with an empty PNG with no text and then add the text using the text option, or just including the text with the PNG?


you should add a text object, otherwise you have to create a graphic for each button and language you’ll support. I’d use TextMeshPro though

Definitely TextObject. More flexibility.
