Absolutely, we’re offering instant payment. You’ll send us a demo of system (compiled game) & detailed info, and if it fits our needs, we’ll instantly send you money (PayPal, Bank Transfer).
Please tell me you’re not joking. This is what hundreds were offering for a dream MMO game.
If I work my a** off and sales are poor I will be the one who feels it, not you.
Problem with this is there’s no guarantee of payment once you hand the demo & doco over. Maybe some sort of escrow system to safeguard all parties would be best before anyone hands a game or cash over? That way all parties are protected.
This is what I don’t understand either. Honestly, MMO’s are cool and all but when I was a n00b at development I wanted to make 2D platformers and then a First Person Game. Although some of my ideas were a bit outrageous and difficult to do, they were still more doable than an MMO.
Some people are as crazy about running a business as we are about developing games. To them the game is simply the product their business is built around.
First, wrong forum. It should be under commercial offerings. Secondly, I don’t know if you know it, but it is very hard game to make (MMO I mean) and many problems may not be apparent until actual launch (vide, what’s happening with Trove right now).
