ByteClub multiplayer networking

Has anyone dealt with ByteClub’s multiplayer services? Sounds pretty interesting. Maybe they’d be interested in integrating their functionality in Unity? I’m sure some people people might be interested the option of multiplayer services/hosting/frameworks provided externally.

I signed up for the beta and at first glance there’s a lot to absorb. I will give it a deeper look tomorrow. My first concern is that it’s an entirely hosted service, they don’t let you run your own servers. (Rather – you MUST run your own server for game logic, but the connection/matchmaking/client-server communication happens from their EC2 cloud.) It’s definitely interesting. If I could get an AMI and run it myself I’d feel a lot better about it.

The only other issue I have is saving state – what happens when the phone rings? Waiting for an answer on that.

looks a bit like Neutron, just that Neutron is not iPhone only. Instead it support all versions of Unity.
Actually there are a serious amount of similarity even the web based game logic server …

None the less interesting naturally
