C# cursor error

Hi

This might be a dumb question, but in visual studio, I can only select characters instead of the spaces in between. when I type, it will replace the selected character with the one I just typed and the it will just move on to the next one. It wont just let me punch in characters in between. How can I turn this off?

Sounds like you’ve inadvertently hit the “insert” key on your keyboard. Press that key again to switch it off.
