Hey,
is there a way to use the hair-function of C4D for Unity? If I create a ball and use hair on it, it doesn’t appear in Unity.
The only way I can think of is to turn the hair from a dynamic prop that C4D does on the fly to polygons. Even then, you’re probably better off modeling hair to a particular style as converting dynamic hair to polygons still creates too many strands that could end up being invisible anyway due to them being pretty much flat. A good place to start would be Modeling Poly Hair in Blender. Even though it’s geared toward Blender, the concepts are the same in pretty much any modeling app; plus, you’d end up with a more optimized mesh for your project.
