Well… because it IS the COD4 weapon. Dude, you should not use copyrighted material on your projects, not even for testing. That also includes models from mods or from fan websites.

i read your comment,and thanks for that.
in this game we had a lot of powerful scripts for aim down,zooming , firing , and so on.
i will upload our scripts for you in this topic.in fact if you use our script there is no different between our code and cod4.
and about me: i am programmer for 15 years . now i am 30
and had a lot of professional software in market with thousandths of customers.currently i am managing a game project and absolutely our game is too similar with cod4.i will glad to share all of my code with you. in future .i am waiting for your comments.

i believe on copyright .and admit it. but in next step i will change our weapons with these. After that
our scrips are worthy and base on you comment i think the unity is a copy of “unreal” game engine but in fact it is not.just remember there is difference between similarity and professional.
my goal is to approve the power of unity. we can create every game with best quality with unity.

Looks good but saying Cod like like in th etitle and using cod material is… bah IO can’t be fudged to complain - keen to see the code mate.

I attached one zip file .first download zip file.This zip File contains 2 files : 1)“aim_animator.js” 2)“center_cross_wide.png”
add these files to your project folder then create a gui texture,position it in center of screen,and assign the downloded png file to it. that’s it.now you would drag and drop the “aim_animator.js” on the gui texure,and our mission is completed.this script has some variable in inspector that you could adjust behavior of the aim controler.
Remember This Code is ours and consume my time for 2 days and it is 100% like cod4 aim controler.
try it it’s free.
Promise me Just Use For any purpose , and never upload and register it with you name.

You should try Media Fire, waaaaaay faster and generally better!

A few things that are wrong:

The iron sight doesn’t match where the bullets hit.
Shadows are going crazy

A few things that I liked
-sprinting

  • iron sight anim (anim or script?)

You’ll need to get rid of the CoD gun fast mate :wink:

Do you have a name for this game yet though? Just wondering… I mean like try since you said it was a “Call of Duty 4 like game”, with no name, people might use CoD 4 as a reference to see what’s illegal/legal… I’m not talking about anyone who’s mentioned that the gun is illegal (which it is however) but if Infinity Ward finds out, who knows what the outcome will be. Not saying that they will however and I completly understand it’s used for testing purposes but, you get my jist. :slight_smile:
