Camera Question...

My core gameplay mechanic involves objects falling down from the top of the screen and as you can see when comparing one aspect ratio (iPhone 5) to another (iPad), the horizontal view gets slightly changed. My idea to fix this involves changing the camera’s normalized view port width number based on the aspect ratio (when I switch to the iPad aspect ratio and change it to .8 it looks okay). Is this a good idea? Thanks
