Camera with X rotation inside 270

I want to rotate the camera’s X rotation outside of the standard range (about [270-360)||[0-90]). For instance, if I wanted to have a backflipping camera, the camera would get stuck looking straight up. Is there a workaround or something to fix this, or is this a rule that’s set in stone?

What I ended up doing was using this.transform.RotateAround(this.transform.right, angle);
