Can activate second computer on one seat

Hi,

From your FAQ

  • How many computers can one seat of Unity be installed on?
  • One seat of Unity can be installed on two computers.

I have a PC and a MAC. For android and iOS. On Unity ID
I can saw : You have activated your seat(s) on 1 computer

But I can’t launch or open unity pro on the mac.

I have close unity on the main computer.
I use the same account of course.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it works like this:

  • One License can be installed on up to two computers at the same time.
  • One License is good for one “seat” using it at any given time. eg only one of those installations can use the license at a time.

So you can install it on 2 computers - like a Desktop and a Laptop - but you can only use it on one of them at a time.

If your issue is that you can’t even install or run it on the Mac, then you haven’t even got to the license part. You have to run Unity, add the license key and if you have an open installation slot it will take it, otherwise it kicks it back.

Yes, 1 seat = 2 computers.

But that doesn’t work on my mac, and on my dashboard there is only "You have activated your seat(s) on 1 computer:.

I have close unity on the main computer, that still doesn’t work, for you I have to “returning license” from help before launching on mac ?

I found a key on email “Your license key to access your Unity seat”, where you can activate second computer.
