Can animations no longer be altered in 3.4?

Has unity version 3.4 removed the option to add/edit animation to an imported object or are there settings that can be changed to once again allow?

editing them is no problem - copy paste them and modify the dublicate. The original is bound to the mesh and any change to it would be gone the on each reimport

I use blender to import fbx files with animation and I use to be able to add animations in the asset editor. It still allows me to but when I put the object into a scene there’s no animation and if I try to add one the asset list only contains my old animations. I think you are referring to the animations that exist apart from an object as a file but these are embedded and are created by specifying start and end frames.
