Can I get different shadow qualities for different objects?

I would like to have the players shadow and everything else besides the trees have high res hard shadows casted onto the terrain, but I want the trees to have low resolution shadows casted onto the terrain (for better performance)
I would get so much more fps if I could have just the tree leaves cast low res shadows.

How can I have the trees low everything else high?

I don’t want to bake any shadows because I have destructible parts and I need the trees to have realtime dynamic shadows.

How can I achieve this? I tried using 2 different directional lights with different resolutions but to do it right with layers it makes the terrain way too bright.

is it just not possible to have 1 terrain with 2 different shadow resolutions casted onto it?
