Can I get old versions of assets I've bought?

Maybe I’m just going crazy, but I swear there is something that was removed from a package I bought on the asset store, and it’s a thing I bought that package explicitly for.

Is there a way to retrieve an older version of something I got from the asset store?
This particular asset is version 1.2 and I want to look at version 1.0 (the version I bought.) I can’t seem to find any option to roll back to an earlier version in the package manager, but maybe I’m just looking in the wrong spot.

Short of contacting the developer or just happening to still have the older version in my project, is there any way to get that older version?

I would like to know this too. Unity offers all versions in their archives and I think the same should be the case for assets too, especially when the developer updates with a game-breaking bug and then abandons the asset, or switches to a new framework that doesn’t work well.

I don’t think so. I’ve seen this same question asked several times before and the conclusion is always that the Asset Store does not provide any way to do this.

I am having this issue, the new version of an asset is completely broken, how can i get the old version?

This really needs to be addressed. It being unavailable is pretty problematic, especially with all the pricing increases across licenses and services.

This is crucial for testing and migration. This is crucial for game quality. This is crucial for assets that can now be accessed via a package manager. I need to be able to manage said packages.

(And I’m not talking about the scenario of reverting to a version I’ve used in the past, because obviously I’d just use git to do that.)
