Can I go back to 3.5 Beta?

The project im working on is unplayable now that i have upgraded from 3.5 beta to 3.5.
Either tell me how i can make 3.5f work like it should, or just tell me how to go back to 3.5 beta.

Here’s how the scene is set up:

There are 4 regular sized terrains with 2 textures (grass and cliff) no trees, no grass

One first person player

A C17 that flies over and drops 4 (i think) tanks (the poly count on them is probably like 1975, im not really sure)

and that’s it.

This ran around 70-80 FPS in 3.5b, but now its like i went back to 3.4 its all twitchy and slow (unless i look directly down or up), it runs around maybe 25-45 FPS, and in the profiler there’s some damn thing that says WaitForTargetFPS thats taking up like 97% of everything. I tried turning VSync off, but that did nothing (it really doesnt even seem like the VSync is any good).

I used to be able to put like 40 tanks with no problem in the scene in 3.5 beta. Now i can maybe get 4. This is unacceptable for a game development tool.

You can’t eventually.
Unity is planned to make beta builds unplayable on the released player.

Dd you check the thing about the directional ligthmaps? (see last note in the release page: http://unity3d.com/unity/whats-new/unity-3.5)
I don’t know if that was behaving differently in the beta or not, but make sure you are clear on this matter.
