Can I make 2D games with Unity?

Hello,

  1. I would like to know if unity is capable of making 2D games, like Angry Birds. (That type of style)?
  2. Also what is the quickest way to get started? I already know how to use Maya and Photoshop. I just need to know what else do I need to learn to be able to make decent games.

  1. Um, absolutely. Look at the credits next time you play Bad Piggies (the follow-up game made by Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds.)
  2. You’ll need some scripting help to make a game.
