Can I move around a terrain tree not placed correctly?

I’ve ‘painted’ some trees on a side of a hill on my terrain, just trying out stuff. Problem is, where the terrain is steep the trees appear to be hanging in the air. Is there a way to move individual trees by hand? I’ve been searching but couldn’t find an answer.

You could set your brush size to tiny and shift/click erase this terrain tree. If you are placing terrain trees via script and want to avoid this, you can check the terrain normal and if it’s too steep don’t place there. There’s a few scripts on UA that already explain how to do that.
