Can I play character animation only on upper body?

I have a character that has a lower body animation, and I have a separated animation for the upper body, how can I play the animation only on the bones above the waist?

You could use two skeletions one for the upper body and one for the lower, this is the easiest way I can think of.

I dont know how to use two skeletons!
The mesh is imported with all the bones together, and the animation is played for all the bones, i can’t separate them in groups, and i can’t play the animation on specific bones

General solution is to delete keyframes for the bones you don’t want in the animation clip.
