Can I render and record a cutscene faster than Realtime

let’s say I have made a long cutscene or anything really, like 20 min animation for example and I wanted to render it to an mp4 but I don’t want to wait 20 mins is there a good way to do it?

my idea was to increase the Time Scale of the project and then record it with a high framerate
then move it to my video editor and slow it down to its original speed and continue my edits on it

it works but I dont think its a good idea to do that.

so basically I need it to render as fast as it can and Im not sure how to do it
the project is simple as well it can easily run at 200fps+

Hi @ArinFaraj , your approach will work, since the Recorder follows the project Time scale. Watch out for audio glitches though if you speed up the time too much.
Note that encoding the frames will still take some time so don’t expect the Recorder to complete the job at lightning speed.

BTW if you want to do video editing, we recommend the ProRes codec because it is better for editing than MP4/WebM.
