I realize this is a bit of a repost from this: If I buy something on the asset store, can I use it in multiple games/apps? - Questions & Answers - Unity Discussions but I still had questions and I feel the original question is dead and there’s no point adding to it.
Alright, so I’m just a tad confused about the legals of purchasing an asset and if you can reuse them. I’m currently under the impression that for all unity purchased assets that are NOT editor extensions such as art, sound etc. it is perfectly legal to reuse them in other games without having to rebuy the asset unless the developer has noted otherwise.
1 Is this true?
For editor extensions, I dunno. I was looking to get the accelerator pack, but I didn’t want to lose the assets if I cancel pro and I wan’t to use them in multiple projects. Except, they are all editor extensions (I think).
2 The legals are confusing for me and I was wondering if someone could tell me if I am allowed to reuse editor extension assets and keep the accelerator assets if I cancel pro.
