Can I shoot a ray from a particle that hit a collider?

Hello I’m wondering if I can send a ray down when my particle hits a collider to get the hit info from a that hit, I need this to determine what point to add a puddle to the ground as my hose’s water hits the ground, or if anyone knows a better way to make a “water stream” that can be shot out and can hit stuff.
