Can i use 3dmax muscle sytem and CAT muscle in unity3d
that is not a Unity problem
I found out that because 3DMax FBX export plug-in don’t support CAT muscle, u need addition custom maxscript
Like Obama says: yes, you can! for do that so, you will need to check on your cat muscle options ‘‘bones’’ (instead default mesh). However, max export the bones wrong because of the orientation of the axis issue… I am trying to find a way to convert cat bones in geometric and bake animation before… because when your muscles come into Unity, they are never in the good place and also the animations are too exaggerated. what make them so ugly animations even if you put the CAT muscle in the good place.
you can change the Y and Z axis orientation in the settings… it worked for me then
I’ll be glad after another generation of hardware or two and FBX exports can support what’s used to make animation films and games without the broken exports and missing features.
