I’m creating an app to learn kids about money in Unity3D. For the first release there are no games in it just to learn them about money. I need to save user data (which could contain a picture taken by the user), and a lot of Cash info and stuff they did with cash (wishlist, bought stuff etc.)
Would Game Center be of any help with user management and saving all the data? Or is the best way to do this, using a local SQL server and save all the data as strings to there?
GameCenter is used for achievements, friends lists, leaderboards etc, it isn’t used for saving data. (naturally you can abuse the system for some data saving, but I wouldn’t do that)
@Tripwire I know you have our plugin so I just want to give you a heads up that we will be coming out with iCloud soon. It will be a free update as always. I don’t know what your timeline is like, but it should be finished within the next week or so.
