Can I use Quest 2 as the only output source? (without rendering on screen)

Hi All,

Can I use Quest 2 as the only output source? (without rendering on screen).
I’m playing 6K 360 movie (7 GB movie - around 10 minutes long ) in Unity and I would like to give the user the option to view it in Quest.
While playing only in my PC I’m getting around 120FPS.
While using the Quest Link, this drop to 9-2 FPS, playing both in the PC and Quest.
Can I disable the PC display rendering to add performance to the quest view?

Some technical spec regarding my setup:
Windows 10,
16 GB Ram
500SSD - Free (200GB)
RTX 2060
I7 (6 Cores)

Do I need a stronger machine for that?

Anyone had a similar issue?

I have these issues if the quest is out of focus. When in focus performance is fine.
Check the profiler if you still have issues

Hi @DevDunk ,
What do you mean “out of focus” ?

The screens go off and tracking stops when there is no user in the headset. You can trick the headset into tricking someone is using it.

Looking back at the issue there is something weird going on. VR shouldn’t add much CPU utilisation and not that much GPU itemization
