i am new to modo. i try to open a fbx file with modo. i can not see animations. i imported this fbx to unity and can see the animations. where should i check if modo imported animation? i use modo 601.
I’ve only ever managed to get imported (character) animations working in Modo 601 when they’re saved in FBX 2010 format (I think 2006 should work fine too). Autodesk have a free FBX converter you can download if they’re third party assets.
can you import multi animation fbx files?
I’ve not managed to get multi animation files imported correctly. I’m hoping Lux will improve their fbx support in a future release, it seems a bit behind the times.
i wonder if lightwave is the same. i havent paid for modo but i bought tutorial and some kit for it. i dissapointed for it’s fbx import support. maya is too expensive for me. i am happy with blender except it has no fbx import support. if there is no full support for my fbx assets why should i change my blender?
