Can not build to my ipod

i got iphone os 3.1.1 and sdk 3.0

in xcode i always get the error “no provisioned iphone os device is connected” when i try to build

this start happening when i updated my ipod to 3.1.1 from 3.0

what can i do? thanks

Your current SDK knows nothing about your newest OS. Please download and install SDK 3.1 from Apple’s website.

Also for best experience with Unity iPhone I may advice you to keep from switching to Snow Leopard.

thanks for the help, i´m downloading the sdk 3.1

It could also just be as simple as needing to restart XCode, power down your device, restart XCode and turn your device back on. I get the same error all the time and that fixes things for me.

thanks for the help that worked for me in the past but now the restart trick dont work, i always get that error message

i´ve updated the sdk to 3.1, and now i get other error

“NO ARCHITECTURES TO COMPILE FOR” on Xcode

please help

edit : i´m 3d artist maybe i´m doing wrong something very simple

Yeah, you should point Xcode to use iPhone’s SDK

You may see the “missing | smth” dropdown in the Xcode’s window. Try selecting right sdk there. Also you may need to cast some spells inside “Project/Edit project settings” menu.

thanks Wozik, is working now!!

“Magic” is unfortunately the only way anyone ever got anything decent out of xcode

well you should be a skilled mage if you’re trying to create cool 3D games for iPhone =)
