Can Omnisharp corrupt Unity project?

Hi

Pardon my probably very stupid question and ignorance, but since I started using Visual Studio Code (Omnisharp) my Unity project got corrupted few times. That never happened when using Monodevelop or Xamarin Studio. Could be this just coincidence?

I know absolutely nothing about OmniSharp, but I’d have to say basic logic dictates that anything new you’ve been doing some it started getting corrupted is what’s likely to have corrupted it: if that includes OmniSharp, then it’s a possibility for certain. I would do some google searches for this kind of problem and see what you can come up with, or check the External Tools forum here as that feels more relevant than the Scripting section.

I have to ask though, is there a particular reason you aren’t just using Visual Studio itself? There’s a free add-on called VSTools For Unity that works fantastically well at bridging the two- I haven’t looked back at Mono/Xamarin since I started using it.
