i really need help on this game im making i want to place cubes right beside each other i will show you what i mean on this video below i really need the help ive been researching this for days now isn't unity suppose to help people like really i just need one person to tell me thats all im asking just one guy nice enough to give me the information i need to get this script. like a video tutorial would be awesome someone please help me.
in the game it just spawns cubes in the air i dont want that i want it to stack up nicely download the game please.

Unity ANSWERS is full of people willing to help others that are able to first help themselves. Your questions need to be specific and non-generic. You need to specify what exactly you need at a particular part, your basically asking someone to tell you how to make your game, which are the questions that are typically ignored. With questions simply called "can someone help me on this?", it makes you look like a kid with either no experience, or a kid who wants someone to give them everything they need. Sorry, but that's just being honest.
And on top of that, this question is poorly written. You don't really specify what your need is, on top of that, it's sounds like a complaint that no one wants to help you. Look at some of the higher viewed, voted questions (or even mine) then look at the lower ranked ones. Compare.
Now, write some script, and please, I'm not going to post an answer to you again if I don't see some code you tried to write for the game... Just telling you now... That's all you'll need to write a minecraft dupe... It's a very easy and almost pointless game to make... So again, write some code, post it up for us to see, comment and document it good and I'll actually look at it... And then people will help you...
To the video tutorial, I highly doubt anyone will make a tutorial on that for one person... It's a game that's been done, and it can't go any farther really... Just my opinion though...

you have excellent points. Why would you want to make a cube based editing engine when Unity has so much more to offer.
One, Minecraft and Cubelands already exists and are successful. They were written by people who KNOW how to program them and manged to make it success. You making an addition one will only produce a clone, and at your current ability (only based on the style of your question) you may want to seek creating something a little more original (or do-able) at your skill level first. Just a suggestion. :D
to stop them floating about add a rigid body and make sure it uses gravity. and if you dont even know enough sbout computers and Unity to upload a working .exe it's clear that you havn't taken any basic tutorials or have any common sense. Or even tested to see if you could download and run your own upload. I think you should spend a good two months learning Unity properly and learning how to code from the ground up because coming here and posting duplicate question after duplicate question complaining isn't getting you anywhere. Don't give up on your project, but put it on hold until you have learnt to use Unity and code properly. Once you have done that doing this will be easy as you will know how roughly to achieve it and what to ask if you run into trouble. Don't bother posting here again UNTIL you have a solid understanding of Unity, coding AND have your very own script (which you understand) to show for it.
