Can still hear audio from source when its outside the max distance

I have set the spatial blend from 0 to 1 (3d). The minimum distance is 0, max is something small like 3. The volume doesn’t seem to change no matter what distance the sound is from the player. But I can hear the direction it’s coming from in my surround sound headset working properly. I have tried logarithmic falloff, custom, and linear falloff. Both custom and linear falloff seem to give me no volume at all.

I found the issue, the audio listener was on the Camera witch was 10 Z units away from where the sound was meant to be heard from. (My game is XY 2d)
