Is there some way I can get the terrain engine to compute proper tangent space for the terrain geometry? I’d like to normalmap my terrain.
You can assign a material to your terrain to give it a normal map. However, terrains are often lightmapped, which are incompatible with normal and specular maps. There is a fairly cheap package I made on the asset store that can rectify this - allowing you to have normal mapped terrains with lightmapping.
