Can Unity access the photos from the IOS Gallery ?

I would like to create an game that will need to use the photos in the Gallery base app of an mobile phone where photos are stored. Can Unity access the photos ?

Am new, so am not sure - how much of unity can access the content of some of the base apps that come with ios or android.

Yes it can. You will need a plugin though. Search for crossplatform native in the asset store.
