I am currently trying to remotely control CNC machines for optical scanning of a product we are developing. I would like to use a 3d viewport as the front end of the application to display the current location of the machine and other data (I previously used Blender for this).
I was wondering if it would violate any of Unity’s terms if I used their 3d engine instead.
The company I am working with is rather large. And we would not intend on selling any Unity application we create, instead we are only using it to help make our automation processes better.
Is it ok to use Unity for engineering and research projects (openly and freely)?
Thanks!!
