Can we get an android forum?

We haven’t decided yet about a separate Android section. Most of the scripting between iPhone and Android is fairly similar so mixing the two would be beneficial to people developing for either platform. I also see a lot of discussion in the iPhone section that is general enough to be helpful to all Unity users so fragmenting it even further seems a bit odd.

On the other hand, there are of course Android specific issues that will arise and expecting everyone to properly prefix their threads with “[Android] build issues” or similar is unrealistic so making a specific section might be necessary.

Anyway, we’re still up in the air about this, but until the final version of Unity Android is officially released we’re going to keep it as is.

If I wanted to search for iPhone specific things I want to be able to specify the forum in which I would like to search and not have to worry about users tagging things as [android] or [iphone]. There are tons of things that’ll come up between the two environments that will be different when it applies to the realm of plugins and native code.
